Hermit Woods Donates $4,000 to Lake Winnipesaukee Association

Posted 03/13/19

Bob Manley, Owner of Hermit Woods Winery, and Pat Tarpy, Executive Director at the Lake Winnipesaukee Association, were on the radio this morning with Pat Kelly on his Good Morning NH radio program on 107.7 The Pulse, and 107.3  WEMJ Radio. Hermit Woods Winery used this opportunity to make it’s latest donation of over $4,000 to help fund the critical work the Lake Winnipesaukee Association does in support of our lakes.

Hermit Woods partnered with The Lake Winnipesaukee Association in 2017 by dedicating their new Winnipesaukee Rosé wine to help raise awareness and funds for the organization. Hermit Woods has committed to donating 10% of the profits of every bottle of wine sold to help fund the organization. Today’s donation is the third time Hermit Woods has given to the program since the release of the wine. Considering that Winnipesaukee Rosé has become one of Hermit Woods most popular wines and it is widely distributed throughout NH via the NH State Liquor store, Hermit Woods expects to make many more donations in the years to come.

Also in support of this project, Stephen Hodecker, a Meredith Artist, generously offered a watercolor he painted for use on the Winnipesaukee Rosé wine label. Between the funds generated by this program and the increased awareness of the organization with every bottle sold, Hermit Woods is proud to do their small part in helping keep our lakes clean.
