Hermit Woods Winery & Katie Dobbins Music partner together to present a monthly music series titled Songwriter RoundUp, where audience members can enjoy talented singer-songwriters from the New England Area in the Lakes Region’s premier listening room. Enjoy songs and stories from host Katie Dobbins and two additional guest acts as they perform acoustically in-the-round. New songwriters will be featured on the last Wednesday of every month in this intimate series! Tickets are $10 – $15 at hermitwoods.com.

Katie Dobbins
Award winning singer-songwriter and light warrior Katie Dobbins seeks to share honest music that captivates listeners and brings light to the darkness. With a mastery of storytelling and the heart of a poet, this soulful songstress captures elements of life and relationships in ways that lift the spirit and challenge the soul. Her album There Is Light, produced by multi-award-winning producer Sean McLaughlin of 37′ Productions, was awarded Album of the Year at the 2021 Limelight Music Awards. Her single There’s a Light, mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Jeff Lipton, was featured on Spotify’s Editorial playlist. Her music has been featured on prominent radio stations like The River and “Boston’s Hottest Country,” with host Carolyn Kruse raving “Sweet but bold, Katie’s voice is reminiscent of one of her heroes, Jewel, but only deeper… A fearless spirit with a gentle touch.” Dobbins’ latest single Giants is an uplifting anthem designed to awaken the spirit and strength within us. The track was mixed and mastered by Emmy-nominated producer Brian Coombes of Rocking Horse Studio (NH), whom Katie plans to release more new music with this year.

Kaylon Sweet a.k.a. Sweet Mercy
Kaylon Sweet is a multi-talented artist whose music has been a constant thread throughout his life, ever since he picked up his first instrument at 16. A skilled chef by trade, Sweet has spent years in the kitchen, but it’s through music that he finds true self-expression—using it as both a creative outlet and a personal respite from the intensity of his culinary career. Writing and performing his own material has long been his passion, and his sound blends heartfelt lyrics with soulful melodies that speak to the soul. As he continues to carve out his place in the music world, Sweet’s music remains a deeply personal reflection of his journey, offering listeners a chance to hear the man behind the apron in a completely new light.
Tim Hazelton
Tim Hazelton is a singer/songwriter from Holderness, NH. Tim has been playing around New England for the last 25 years as a solo artist, a member of the pop/punk band Nostalgic Distortion, and as a member of the Tim and Dave Show. Playing a mix of covers and originals on acoustic guitar and ukulele in a variety of styles, including folk, rock, old country, blues, and punk. Tim released his sophomore solo album, “Dead Inside”, in the summer of 2023 to critical acclaim.
A Listening Room Experience
Hermit Woods is excited to bring talented artists from New England and beyond to perform for you. Each performance will provide you with an intimate, up-close, and personal experience with the performing artists. We ask our audience please refrain from talking during the featured show. Your silence will allow the artists and the audience to immerse themselves in the experience, which is not otherwise possible in larger, noisier environments.
Doors open at 5:30 pm for a complimentary wine tasting. The Loft Doors open at 6:00. We encourage you to arrive early for our wine tasting and enjoy food and wine before the show. Food service stops at 7:00, the bar will remain open throughout the performance. When the featured artists takes the stage we will ask that the audience remain quiet during the performance. After the show, we invite you to interact with the artists and purchase any music or merchandise offerings if available.
