Made from the ‘hips’ from Rugosa Rose plants – those red, tart and tangy, bulbs left over after the flowers fade. These fruit are loaded with vitamin C and make an excellent wine. Akin to a pinot grigio or light, un-oaked chardonnay, enjoy this light, off dry wine with appetizers such as brushetta, stuffed mushrooms, or hummus and veggies. Also pairs well with light pizza. Serve lightly chilled.
