Grapes come from the famed Napa Valley region in California, picked at the perfect time and shipped via refrigerated truck to the east coast. These were in perfect balance at crush and handled minimally to let all the true flavors and characteristics shine through. Medium toast French oak in a spiral was added to the fermenter for greater flavor complexity and tannins. This wine is drinking fine now at release, but will age and reach peak depth and balance of flavors in 2-4 years.
