Introduction to Home Wine Making

Ken_Hardcastle-WinemakerKen Hardcastle, Vintner at Hermit Woods Winery, will provide an introductory course on making your own wine at home. Whether you’re just starting out or you already make wine at home, this class will cover all the basics, as well as many tips, tricks, and advanced techniques for experienced winemakers.  We will work through the steps from whole fruit, juice, cider or honey to bottle: covering the steps of fermentation, pressing, racking, aging, stabilizing, blending and bottling.
